Disclaimer — Website Audit Reports & Technical Recommendations

1. What this document is for

Every audit report we produce describes problems and recommends changes. This page explains the limits of what that report means, so you can use it with accurate expectations.

Read this together with our Terms of Service. Where the two overlap, the Terms of Service controls.

2. No guarantee of search results

We do not guarantee, predict, or promise any search engine outcome.

That includes, specifically and without limitation:

  • Any Google, Bing, or other search engine ranking, for any keyword
  • Any position on any results page
  • Any amount of organic traffic
  • Any Search Console impressions, clicks, or click-through rate
  • How long any improvement will take, if one happens at all
  • That a ranking decline will reverse
  • That your site will not decline further

Search rankings are produced by algorithms that Google does not fully disclose and changes regularly, sometimes without announcement. Rankings are also affected by your competitors, your content, your brand strength, your industry, your site’s history, and the behaviour of real users — none of which we control.

Anyone who guarantees you a specific ranking is either guessing or lying. We are not going to do either.

3. What our audit actually measures

Our audit inspects a defined set of technical and structural properties of your website. Depending on the tier, this may include:

  • Server response time
  • Page weight and script count
  • Image handling and description attributes
  • Internal link structure
  • Broken links
  • Page titles and meta descriptions
  • Duplicate or overlapping pages
  • Basic WordPress configuration and version exposure

This is a technical inspection, not a business, marketing, legal, or financial assessment.

An audit cannot tell you:

  • Whether your product is what customers want
  • Whether your prices are right
  • Whether your content is persuasive
  • Whether your brand is trusted
  • Whether your competitors are stronger
  • Whether more traffic would produce more revenue
  • Whether your business is viable

A site can score 100 out of 100 and still not sell anything. A site can score 45 and be highly profitable. The score measures technical hygiene. It does not measure business health, and it should never be read as a verdict on your business.

4. Limits of a public audit

If you have not given us access to your WordPress admin panel, our audit is based only on what is publicly visible on your website.

This means we can see less than we would with access. In particular, without admin access we generally cannot inspect:

  • Plugin versions and update status
  • Theme customisations and their effects
  • Server-side configuration
  • Database-level issues
  • Content in draft, private, or scheduled state
  • Whether a backup exists or when it was last taken
  • User roles, permissions, or account hygiene
  • Caching configuration (in some cases)

A public audit is therefore an incomplete picture by design. Reports produced this way say so on their summary page. Where we are uncertain, we say so rather than guessing.

5. No warranty of completeness

We may miss something.

Our checks cover a defined list of known problem types. We do not claim this list is exhaustive. There may be problems on your site that our checks do not detect — including problems that are newer than our checks, problems specific to your theme or industry, and problems that only appear under particular conditions (certain browsers, certain devices, particular traffic volumes).

A report that finds nothing wrong does not certify that nothing is wrong. It means our checks found nothing.

6. Findings reflect a single point in time

Every scan is a snapshot. Between the scan and the moment you read the report, and again between the report and the moment you act on it, things can change:

  • A plugin may update and reintroduce an issue
  • Content edits may create new issues
  • A server migration may change performance
  • A theme update may break a fix
  • Links may rot as external sites go offline

A fix is not permanent maintenance. That is precisely why Ongoing Care exists — but even Ongoing Care is a monthly snapshot, not continuous monitoring.

7. Third-party software and services

Your website almost certainly runs on software we did not write and do not control: WordPress itself, your theme, your plugins, your hosting environment, your CDN, your email provider.

We are not the vendor of any of these. We cannot:

  • Guarantee their behaviour, uptime, security, or longevity
  • Fix bugs in their code
  • Prevent them from changing in a way that breaks something
  • Control whether they are abandoned by their maintainers
  • Guarantee they remain compatible with each other after updates

Where a fix depends on third-party software behaving in a particular way, and it does not, we will tell you. We cannot force it to.

Some fixes involve configuring a specific plugin (for example, a caching plugin). If you later switch plugins, the fix may need to be redone. That would be a new job, not a warranty claim.

8. Not security certification

Our checks may note visible configuration details — for example, whether your WordPress version is publicly exposed.

This is not a security audit, not a penetration test, and not a certification that your site is secure.

We do not test for vulnerabilities, we do not attempt intrusion, and we do not review your code or your hosting configuration for security weaknesses. A site that passes every check we run may still be completely insecure.

If you need a genuine security assessment, engage a qualified security professional. We can tell you that we are not that.

We are also not liable for security incidents, hacks, malware, or data breaches — including ones that occur during or after our work. See section 10 of our Terms of Service.

9. Not legal, financial, or accessibility compliance advice

Our reports are not legal advice, financial advice, tax advice, or regulatory compliance advice.

In particular:

  • Accessibility: we may note missing image descriptions, which help screen-reader users. This is not a WCAG conformance audit and does not certify ADA, Section 508, or EU Accessibility Act compliance. Compliance requires a formal audit by a qualified specialist.
  • Privacy: we do not review your privacy policy, cookie consent, or data processing practices. GDPR, CCPA, and similar obligations are your responsibility.
  • Advertising claims: we do not review your marketing copy for legal compliance.
  • Financial services: if you operate in a regulated industry, our technical fixes do not address your regulatory obligations.

10. Recommendations are suggestions, not instructions

When we recommend a change, we are describing what we believe would improve the technical condition of your site, based on our experience and on the evidence in the report.

You are responsible for deciding whether to act on a recommendation, and for the consequences of doing so — whether you implement it yourself, hand it to another developer, or ask us to do it.

If you hand our report to a third-party developer, we are not responsible for how they interpret or implement it.

11. Effort and impact estimates are estimates

Reports include phrases like “20–40 minutes” and “biggest single win on most sites.”

These are informed estimates based on typical sites, not commitments. Your site may take longer. An issue may matter more or less on your site than on a typical one. We mark them as estimates because that is what they are.

12. Sample reports and case studies

If we show an example report, a screenshot, or a “before and after,” it describes one specific site at one specific moment.

It is not a prediction of your result.

We choose examples that illustrate a point clearly. They are not a statistical sample, and past outcomes do not indicate future ones.

13. AI-assisted tooling disclosure

Some parts of our analysis are automated, and some automated analysis uses AI-assisted tooling to help identify, prioritise, and describe issues.

Every report we send to a client is reviewed by a human before delivery. Automated checks generate the raw findings; a person decides what goes in the report and how it is worded.

We disclose this because you should know how the sausage is made. We do not use AI to write claims about your business, and we do not let automated tooling make final judgments about severity without review.

14. Data handling in audits

When we scan your site:

  • We request publicly available pages, as any visitor or search engine would
  • We do not attempt to access private areas, admin panels, or restricted files without your permission
  • We do not sell, share, or publish data about your site
  • We store reports only as long as needed to deliver them and support you; you may ask us to delete them at any time by emailing tony@zxpoloshop.com

If we scan your site because you responded to an outreach email, and you would prefer we had not, tell us and we will delete what we hold and not contact you again.

15. Limitation of liability

This disclaimer operates alongside section 10 of our Terms of Service, which limits our total liability to the amount you paid us in the preceding three months (and to zero if you paid nothing).

If you received a free audit and paid us nothing, our financial liability to you in connection with that audit is zero.

We provide free audits as a courtesy and a demonstration of our work. We do not accept liability for decisions made on the basis of a free report. If you want a paid engagement with a contractual commitment, that is what the Quick Fix and Ongoing Care tiers are for.

16. Changes

We may update this disclaimer. The current version is the one published at https://aixhdd.com/legal-disclaimer/. Material changes will carry a new “last updated” date.

17. Contact

If anything here is unclear, or if you want to know exactly what a report does and does not cover before you buy, ask:
