Terms of Service — WordPress Site Audit & Fix Services

Last updated: 18 October 2026 Provider: Tony (trading as AIXHDD), operating at https://aixhdd.com Contact: tony@zxpoloshop.com

1. Who this agreement is between

This agreement is between you (“Client”, “you”) and Tony, trading as AIXHDD (“Provider”, “we”, “us”), who provides website auditing and repair services for WordPress websites.

By purchasing or accepting a free audit from us, you agree to these terms.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, do not use our services.

2. What we provide

We provide three separate services:

2.1 Free Website Audit (“Free Audit”) At no cost, we scan publicly accessible parts of your website and send you a written report describing issues we found. The Free Audit requires no payment, no account, and no access to your website’s admin panel. It is based solely on information publicly available on the internet.

2.2 Quick Fix (“Quick Fix”) A one-time paid service. We fix up to three (3) issues identified in your report, as agreed in writing before work begins. Delivered within 48 hours of (a) payment clearing and (b) you providing the access described in section 4.

2.3 Ongoing Care (“Ongoing Care”) A recurring monthly service. We perform a monthly scan of your site, deliver a monthly report, fix critical issues we identify, and make ourselves available by email for questions about the site. Ongoing Care is billed monthly in advance and may be cancelled by either party as described in section 8.

3. Scope — what is and is not included

3.1 Included Work is limited strictly to the items listed in the written scope agreed before work begins. For the Quick Fix, this is the three items named in your order confirmation.

3.2 Not included The following are not part of any service tier unless we explicitly agree to them in writing and adjust the price accordingly:

  • Website redesign, theme changes, or visual redesign of any kind
  • Writing content, blog posts, or marketing copy
  • Search engine optimisation campaigns or link building
  • Hosting, domain registration, SSL certificate procurement, or server administration
  • Migration to a different host, platform, or content management system
  • Development of new features, plugins, or custom functionality
  • Recovery from a hack, malware removal, or security incident response
  • Legal, tax, or regulatory compliance work
  • Any work on websites not owned by you

3.3 Third-party dependencies Some fixes depend on third-party software (for example, a caching plugin, a theme, or a hosting provider’s control panel). Where a third party’s product behaves unexpectedly or is outside our control, we will report this to you, but we cannot guarantee a fix.

4. What we need from you

For paid services, you must provide, at no cost to us:

  • WordPress administrator access (or an account with sufficient permissions to make the agreed changes)
  • The ability to take a backup before we begin, or confirmation that one exists
  • Timely answers to questions we need in order to complete the work
  • A single point of contact authorised to approve changes

You must not give us access to a website you do not own or have authority to modify.

We will request access only to the extent needed to perform the agreed work, and we revoke and delete that access when the work is complete (see section 9).

5. No guarantee of rankings, traffic, or revenue

This is the most important section of this agreement. Please read it.

We fix technical problems. We do not — and cannot — guarantee any outcome in search engines or in your business.

Specifically, we make no guarantee, promise, or representation about:

  • Search engine rankings for any keyword
  • The volume of traffic you will receive
  • The number of visitors, leads, enquiries, or sales
  • Google Search Console impressions, clicks, or click-through rate
  • Revenue, profit, or return on investment
  • How quickly any change will be reflected in search results, if at all
  • Whether your site will recover from any prior ranking decline

Search rankings are determined by search engine algorithms that are proprietary, undisclosed, and constantly changing. They are also influenced by factors entirely outside our control, including your competitors’ actions, your content, your brand, your industry, and the broader state of the web.

What we do commit to: that the technical issues we fix will genuinely be fixed, and that we will show you evidence of the change. Nothing more, and nothing less.

Any example, case study, or past result we mention describes a specific situation at a specific time. It is not a prediction of your result.

6. Delivery and timelines

6.1 The Quick Fix is delivered within 48 hours of payment clearing and access being provided, whichever is later.

6.2 If we cannot complete a fix within 48 hours for reasons within our control, we will tell you, give you a revised date, and — if you prefer not to wait — refund the payment for the unfinished item in full (see section 7).

6.3 Delays caused by factors outside our control (hosting outages, third-party plugin failures, your unavailability to approve changes) extend the timeline by the duration of the delay. We will notify you as soon as we become aware.

6.4 A “fix” means the issue no longer exists on your site, verified by us and checked by you. It does not mean the issue has permanently disappeared — a future plugin update or content change may reintroduce it.

7. Payment and refunds

7.1 Payment Fees are as stated on https://aixhdd.com/wp-audit/ at the time of order, in US dollars. We accept payment through PayPal. Payment is due in advance for the Quick Fix, and monthly in advance for Ongoing Care.

7.2 Refunds — Free Audit No refund applies; it costs nothing.

7.3 Refunds — Quick Fix

  • If you cancel before we begin work: full refund, no questions asked.
  • Once work has begun: no refund, because the work is the deliverable. If you cancel midway, you are still responsible for the full fee.
  • If we cannot complete the agreed work for reasons within our control: full refund for the affected items, or a revised delivery date at your choice.

7.4 Refunds — Ongoing Care

  • Cancel any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid month.
  • Partial months are not refunded once the month’s work has begun.
  • If you cancel within the first 14 days of your first month and we have not yet performed work, you will receive a full refund of that month.

7.5 Chargebacks Please contact us before initiating a chargeback. We will work with you to resolve the issue. Frivolous chargebacks after work has been delivered may result in a permanent ban from our services.

7.6 Currency and fees All prices are in USD. Your bank or payment provider may apply currency conversion or transaction fees. Those fees are your responsibility and are outside our control.

8. Cancellation

8.1 Ongoing Care is month-to-month. You may cancel any time by emailing us. No long-term commitment exists.

8.2 We may cancel Ongoing Care by giving you 30 days’ written notice, with a pro-rata refund for any month paid but not delivered.

8.3 We may immediately terminate a service if you: provide access to a site you do not own; ask us to do something unlawful; abuse our staff; fail to pay; or use the service in a way that harms a third party.

9. Access, confidentiality, and data

9.1 Access We request only the access needed. For most Quick Fix jobs this is temporary administrator or editor access, or a temporary application password that you can revoke.

9.2 Confidentiality We treat everything on your site as confidential. We will not disclose your site’s content, credentials, data, or business information to any third party except where required by law.

9.3 Revocation When work is complete, we ask you to revoke our access, and we delete any credentials we stored. If you prefer to revoke first, tell us and we will wait.

9.4 Reporting We may mention that we worked with your website (for example, “a dental practice in Ohio”) in general terms, but we will never publish your name, domain, screenshots, or specific findings without your written permission.

9.5 Backups You are responsible for having a current backup of your site before we begin. We strongly recommend taking one and telling us when it is done. If you do not have a backup and something goes wrong, we may not be able to reverse it.

10. Limitation of liability

10.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or related to this agreement is limited to the total amount you actually paid us in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

10.2 We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to: lost profits, lost revenue, lost traffic, lost data, loss of business opportunity, or loss of goodwill.

10.3 We are not liable for the acts, omissions, outages, bugs, or security failures of third parties, including your hosting provider, theme vendor, plugin vendors, payment processors, and search engines.

10.4 We are not liable for pre-existing problems on your site, including existing damage caused by other vendors or by your own changes.

10.5 Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations. Where that is the case, the limits above apply to the fullest extent permitted, and nothing in this section limits any right you have that cannot lawfully be limited.

11. Your responsibilities

You represent and warrant that:

  • You own the website, or have full authority to authorise changes to it
  • The website does not infringe anyone’s intellectual property
  • The content on the website is not unlawful
  • You will not ask us to do anything unlawful, deceptive, or in breach of a third party’s terms (for example, asking us to manipulate search rankings through prohibited techniques)

We will refuse work that appears intended to deceive search engines or users, and doing so is grounds for immediate termination without refund.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published at https://aixhdd.com/legal-terms/ when you place an order. Material changes will be announced there with a new “last updated” date. Changes do not apply retroactively to work already under way.

13. Governing law and disputes

13.1 These terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

13.2 Before taking legal action, please email us. Most disputes are resolved in one conversation.

13.3 If informal resolution fails, disputes will be resolved in the courts of the Provider’s domicile.

13.4 Nothing here prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive relief where genuinely necessary.

14. General

14.1 Entire agreement. These terms, together with the written scope agreed for your order, are the complete agreement between us and replace anything discussed previously.

14.2 Severability. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in force.

14.3 No waiver. If we do not enforce a provision on one occasion, we have not waived it permanently.

14.4 Assignment. You may not transfer this agreement without our written consent. We may assign it to a successor business.

14.5 Language. These terms are written in English. Any translation is for convenience only; the English version controls.

14.6 Force majeure. Neither party is liable for delay caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, widespread internet or power outages, or government action.
